MWC got more cartoony as the years went on but the early, sorta-realistic (such as they were) seasons and the peak (2-6, say) are genuinely great. The scripts and acting, especially then, are very underrated.

Yeah, there’s something vaguely annoying, or at least eye-rolling, about the gun and the taser and the barbed-wire bat. I almost hope that little bit was made exclusively for a teaser or trailer and never actually appears in the show.

Didn’t Hannibal’s second season open with Hannibal and Crawford beating the ever-loving shit out of each other? Seems like maybe that shoulda made the list.

It’s bizarre how little he’s actually in that TNG episode. It’s like a minute at most.

I think in every commercial I’ve ever seen of this show, even long before this d-bag was on it, the hosts come off as underwhelmed but sweatily desperate to hide it. It’s a paycheck, I guess.

I wonder how much turnover there’s been in the writing and production staff over the years (or I guess, more to the point, how little).
