Didn’t sort of the same thing happen on Hannibal, where he was playing Mason Verger? At least there he was under a bunch of prosthetics so it was almost less important who was playing the character.

Unless I read the opening credits wrong (I wasn’t paying a ton of attention), William Stanford Davis-- Mr. Johnson-- is now a full regular cast member, which is a good move.

Oh come on, Crocodile Dundee is not history’s greatest monster.

Are they like scenes in movies or tv shows that are set in a dentist’s office and the point-of-view shot is out of the patient’s mouth from the inside?

She should do a quick rewrite, call it Top Gun: Rogue Squadron, and sit back as the money trucks drive up.

From yesterday

Angie Tribeca from a few years ago is the only thing I can remember in the Naked Gun vein that worked even a little.

Ooh, good one.

Lana only seems like “the sane one” on the surface. Underneath, she’s just as crazy as the rest of them, and that’s why the ensemble works so well together.

Similar idea to the for-profit prison system that’s sprung up over the last... decade or something? I don’t remember when I first heard about those, but I do remember thinking “Hmm, that’s gonna be a problem.” And sure enough.

If that’s the case, Yorgos Lanthimos and The Lobster might have been a better comparison.

I thought those sites (Parler, Trump’s bullshit thing, etc) were usually so poorly designed and badly secured that all their info was basically free for the taking by any even slightly dedicated hacker type out there.

Which is pretty hilariously ironic considering this goofball went on to say “Its a limitation of character to not be able to handle insults or not understand how your behavior is unacceptable to the community at large.”

Makes you wonder when he sees (or even thinks about) those 9 kids of his.

That still up at the top looks like like a screenshot from the movie and more like a screenshot from the choreography of the fight. “And then you go like this, and I’ll go like this...”

Rowling shared recently on The Graham Norton Show. “I said to my husband, ‘I think everyone is going to see this as a response to what happened to me,’ but it genuinely wasn’t. The first draft of the book was finished at the point certain things happened.”

Or at least somewhere better than whatever the hell Roku Channel is.

Don’t forget he also wants this fight in public so he can grift his supporters out of their money.

Right, this is different— this isn’t a prequel being made because the studio sees $ in it.
