I too would take my old 5.9 any day of the week. I’ll gladly trade some mpgs for all those torques.

I had an ‘88 LS in Nighthawk Blue (I named the paint) with over 365k on it before I sold it for my 5.9l GC. The Legend ran like a top. Rust was an issue coming from PA though. I had it out west in WYO and CO for 3 years and somehow the rust didn’t rust out at all...

My ‘88 LS with 365k would get 29 mpg on the highway and average 26. I think that is pretty good, better than decent.
