same here (not the 64 age, but not far off), I have a 2010 SUV too, it works fine and I have a mount for my iphone with a bluetooth 12V device plugged in that transmit to the radio, all the tech I really need. The repairs don’t even approach a new car monthly/yearly cost.

We bought a demo cx5 for about 3oK CDN all in out the door, I see that I could likely sell it for a bit more than that. We are keeping the older cx7 as even with slightly higher maintenance costs it is still much cheaper than getting into a new car note.

Get ready for 120 month financing.

We replaced the transmission on our cx7, at the time it wasn’t in the budget for a new car. let’s face it, unless you are buying new with a warranty, it doesn’t make sense to buy another used car with the risk of another bad transmission or something else major going wrong. With us the new transmission had a 2 year

Don’t feel bad, we don’t either in Canada, thanks to our scumbag politicians.

Most people do not need giant vehicles but that doesn’t work for the car companies that need to make the profit they do on pickups or larger SUV’s

Given the more expensive gas in Canada, Suzuki could make some sales here, Canadians seem to love smaller SUV/CUVs given the amount of Kia Souls, Konas and Venues I see running around. Also with proper jeeps being in the 50K range here, a 30K simple jeep could be a hit with younger people.

What do you expect from a state governed by the walking haircut Gavin Newsome?

If faster charging and more charging was available, then PHEV would be a solution for a lot of people, 100 mile range for day to day duty with ample charging and c/speeds with an ICE for longer trips.

I do contracting as one of my jobs, most of the time one of my mid sized SUVs is good enough to carry the lumber paint etc that I need. I have a utility trailer for 8X4 panels and drywall and if I need 20-30 units I save myself the hassle and get it delivered. The money I save using my paid off cars and not financing

Let me know where I can buy a car for $300, I’ll buy 10.

$6500, a good weekend truck without breaking the bank, local trips shouldn’t be too bad with the gas mileage, better than spending 50-60K for a new truck.

Can we see a list of cars under MSRP, or does that not exist anymore?

You’ll own nothing and be happy”, Klaus Schwab

Mazda is the answer here, cx5, yes its 12 inches longer but with a backup camera shouldn’t be an issue, one of the smaller mid sized SUVs when compared to the Tucson or the RAV4. You can get the older models in a stick and FWD if that’s your thing

It might be down to not having a few thousand available, considering 50% of Americans can’t afford a $500 emergency this is a likely reason.

Clean car not crazy price for these times. As they say GM cars will run broken better than most cars and repairs should be inexpensive.
