I don't know if this was posted after my request for an FF explainer, but either way, thanks for this! I guess I already knew most of this. I'm mostly curious about whether there is any kind of consistent lore / plot / mythology across the franchise, and apparently there isn't.

I dunno if she could sell these, would it be legal?

I'd say wait for the standalone. It's bound to be a better experience than the current mod. Both the mod and the base game (Arma 2) are about to become obsolete, with standalone DayZ and Arma 3 on the horizon, so it would be a waste to buy CO now.

It's not opening at all for me, so I assumed it wasn't yet up. Is it?

I hope the ArmA III engine addresses these issues, because it's likely to be the engine used for standalone DayZ. (Unless they use the ArmA II engine to save time.)

Ditto. I purchased Minecraft early in beta and I got my money's worth many times over, so I would gladly purchase a discounted alpha of the standalone DayZ.

Agreed, I wish the game looked this good. I hope the standalone version will.

I'm glad I haven't bought ARMAII:CO just for this. I'm okay with waiting and getting a better experience later.

How about you post it again? I keep wondering what this scene is about.

I am fairly certain that Valve will release the next Half-Life out of the blue, sort of like Bethesda just did with Dawnguard PC. It makes for a much better entry than weeks of hype. I can't wait for the day I open Steam and see it "available now", staring at me.

Were you lying on your back? That'll do it. Every time I'm lying down and I sneeze, there's a pleasant little rain on my face. XD

Whipped cream is overrated. Ice cold fruit salad on the other hand, that's really fun. Don't put it all beforehand, of course. Bit by bit.

Haha, this is pretty funny.

The Dark Brotherhood plotline was the best in the game, way better than the main plotline. The recruiting, the betrayals, the final assassination... really nicely done.

It's pretty funny how shortly after this post, Dawnguard was released for PC. Bethesda were all like "Ha! suckers"

All I know is that the North Korean weightlifter owned the hell out of everyone. He was a pretty cheerful guy too, grinning and jumping around after every successful snatch.

To be fari, the "Great" in Great Britain denotes "large". Not that it's that either, anymore.
