I’ll give both modes a try but I’m a bit of an oddball when it comes to FPS options. Like Spider-Man 2, I couldn’t tell a big FPS difference between quality and performance.

I’d be fine if they did a balanced option for these games instead of just quality and performance. I know some have done that. 

I pre-ordered it this morning on Xbox and it downloaded a single title. It was really small too like around 5GB.

Also their relationship with Nintendo. They’ve been publishing games on their platform since Gameboy and a few exclusives have also shown up on Switch. They also already have games published on PS.

I’m surprised Sony hasn’t added that feature to the PS5. I did a full shut down the other night when it was raining incase the power went out. I saw the note that it would close any open game or app.

That threw me off too. I was wondering what Matthew Vaughn had to do with Deadpool 3 when Shawn Levy is directing.

Knock on wood I haven’t had an issue with my Xbox disc drives but my buddy sounds like you. His Xbox One drive quit reading game discs and would work in random instances.

It has made me more choosey though with what I buy physically. I’m mostly digital these days but there are those instances where I want a collector’s edition or something physical.

That and in 2023 70% of game sales were digital. 

Either way it’s the same for physical and digital. Sure you own the disc license and they can’t just revoke it. But physical games are also dependent on servers and downloads in order for them to work. That got started with the PS3/360 generation. If they ever turn off the servers for patches on those consoles a lot…

One of our UPS drivers has been doing that since the Xbox One. Him and his son each had an Xbox so he bought everything digitally which gave them each a copy of the game. It was much nicer than buying each game twice.

I’m ok with waiting for this to hit GamePass eventually. I couldn’t escape the spoilers either and was surprised what happened to the Arkham Batman.

That’s what Nintendo has been doing for some of the Switch releases. I don’t think many people were happy about that one though.

They definitely have an uphill battle with Foamstars. It could be a different experience but based on the trailers I saw, it just looks like splatoon with foam instead of ink. If it catches on great! I just know other companies, like Sony, tried to do their spin on Mario Kart and Smash Bros and it ended up going…

I’m looking more and more forward to this collection. I’m kinda shocked how they’re only charging $30 for all the extra work they put into the games. 

Same, I beat all the TR PS1 games back in the day and I don’t know how. I’m hoping the modern controls workout great.

I need to get AA batteries or a new rechargable pack for my Xbox controller. My old battery stopped charging and instead of buying a new one I just use my controller wired now. It’s just me and my wife so I don’t mind a cable running through the living room.
