Me too. I am half Japanese, half white. It’s not difficult to tell I am not of completely white descent. My eyes are a huge clue. When I meet someone new, inevitably it comes up at some point and they usually act shocked by saying something along the lines of, “Wow, I couldn’t even tell! You don’t look Asian at ALL!”

Considering the stuff he’s posted from racist groups and websites, it’s safe to say that he never checks things before presenting them as fact. If it’s something that he agrees with, then he doesn’t care if it’s true.

IIRC she’s still Catholic, just not happy with the Church’s policies (though I imagine she feels better about Francis). I was foursquare against Tom Cruise as Lestat, but he really pulled it out of the fire and gave a decent performance against my dire predictions. Give the man some credit for not sucking (no pun intended) nearly as hard as we all thought he would.

Tom Cruise was awesome as Lestat though. One of his better roles.

Merrick was the first, then Blackwood Farm and last Blood Canticle. Loved the Vampire Chronicles, also lived for the Mayfair Witches series. Somehow didn’t love the two worlds together.

This scene feels so much more satisfying to watch as an adult.
