I’m confused about something. I read The Silkworm and don’t remember the Pippa character as being a villian, especially since the killer was someone else. Did I somehow forget Pippa going to jail and Strike making that remark?

I’ll admit that when dealing with someone who doesn’t speak English well, somehow for no reason I instinctly talk with what I presume their accent is. I have no idea why. Maybe I think it will make communication better?

Oh people do a lot more than that in the library. We kept finding needles everywhere. It got so bad we had to install safe needle receptacles in every bathroom. I tell ya, I could have asked any random patron to hook me up with a dealer and it would be done in about a half an hour.

I hadn’t read that article, but when Simone first showed up, I really thought that the show would make her and Elenor rivals. I am so glad that turned out to not be the case, with Eleanor actively pushing Chidi to just ask Simone out already. Just delightful.

This crazy dude just posted 1 minute ago threatening to kill the person who reported him to Facebook. He will pay money to FB to find out the name and address of the person who snitched, come to your house and kill you. He seems remarkably cool calm collected and completely sane.
