I had never heard of her before the Good Place but she certainly brings something to the table. It also probably helps that she is surrounded by other people equally as talented and that they get along.

Yeah. I think Dan gave some bad advice here. If she plans to go back on her word to CP, that’s not a racy little secret. That is a betrayal. As you suggested the best thing she could do right now is tell CP how her ex makes her feel desirable and she likes hearing these things and let him be a part of the decision and…
That was funny, and I don’t think you are wrong. She actually did bite my face when I slept a little to long for her liking. I’ve also woken up with scratch marks on my arms many a time. She must be tenderizing me.
I know my cat is. Claudia just LOVES to sleep on my face. Well she is in for a real shock when she doesn’t get fed while my suffocated body is lying dead in the bedroom.
In 1989 there were two movie versions of Les Liasions Dangerous. One starred Glenn Close and John Malkovich, the other Annette Bening and Colin Firth. Dangerous Liasioins did better than Valmont, but each had their weaknesses. I thought Firth was better as Valmont than Malkovich was, but Close was better than Bening…
Well it doesn’t seem to be entirely this guys fault. If he somehow went to the wrong gate, they checked him in he probably thought he was good to go. They also check your ticket when boarding the plane. He was just unlucky that apparantly no one was assigned to his seat so for some reason they didn’t even notice until…
I think that may be it. Last season was all about Elizabeth, Philip and Margaret learning their new roles and struggling with it. This season, everyone knows their place and are more or less resigned to it, which can be compelling at times, but not for a whole season.
Actually, while Nero did do some terrible things (killing his mother is high up there) he did some good things as well. After the Great Fire in Rome, he opened up his private gardens to those displaced. He also redesigned the city to hamper future fires. He also used that opportunity to build himself a huge Golden…
While I enjoyed this season, I found it not as strong as the first one. The acting of course was amazing, but there was something missing. Oh well, looking forward to next year to see what the new actors bring.
I was just coming here to say that. She was also in the original Pirhana.
I’d like to think maybe one of the protocol guys or even the Queen politely asked her to take it off, but who knows. Well she got her offensive dig in, and now she will have to curtsy to the person she offended, plus she’s losing her apartment to her as well.
I read somewhere she has a line of handbags, so she has probably trademarked her name which would mean the company can’t use her name without her permission or giving her a percentage of the profits. But the article isn’t clear about that.
Of course she did! My mum mentioned it to me when I talked to her tonight because she had read about it online and just thought the backlash was because it was an ugly piece of jewlery. When I pointed out to her that Meghan was inter racial she finally got it, since she thought she was just a pretty Canadian actress…
She also wrote a book about Catherine de Medici and Diane de Poitiers, and claimed to be a descendant of both. A rather weird thing to be proud of since one was a hated Queen of France, and the other the mistress of the King of France. Interesting book though that I doubt she wrote herself.
Yes. She opted not to use that title because that was Diana’s title and feelings were pretty strong about her not using it, but yes she is. When Charles and Camilla married there was also talk about what title she would publicly use when Charles became King. A few protocol experts said that no matter what she calls…
Yes, Fire Walk With Me is underrated. I saw it at the theatre when it first came out and left visibly shaken. I viewed as less Twin Peaks supernatural theme and more a story of a teen being abused by her father and turning to drugs and hooking to block it out. Heartbreaking really.
Season Four actually isn’t bad despite some people not too keen on the ending, but I thought it was a clever way to wrap the series up after the gut wrenching midseason finale. Razor was okay because it dealt with new and peripheral characters from the show which made it interesting. I did like The Plan though just…
I liked this particular episode too. It showed two woman in largely ceremonial roles trying to figure what those roles are. Though I am not entirely sure Jackie would admit to a foreign head of state that she and her husband were being drugged by doctors, I found her apology for the snarky comments sincere. Especially…
I read her book about what happened, and saw the documentary about it. She accepted his 40 years too late apology, but I can’t say if she forgives him. I think she just wants the whole thing to go away so she live her life in peace.
Very true, and that was a lousy statement to make in court. My mum is very involved with her church with a group of other people who want to keep it functioning. So she cleans the church, counts the meagre amount of money they get as a tithe, delivers communion to the nearby hospital, goes once a week to a not so…
