I thought F-150s automatically downshifted when they see a Prius in front of them?

Isn’t the point of having the sensor near the road surface to give you an accurate reading of whether the road surface is at or near freezing? No-one really cares how hot it is when it’s hot, but it really matters when it’s cold.
My guess - the truck saw itself in a reflective surface for the first time and attempted to self-delete.
Well, that one looks a bit shorter than when it was delivered, yes.
I, for one, take a really positive message away from this heart-warming story. *This* is what happens when you try turning off and on again *before* calling the IT Helpdesk and whining at them that you’ve already tried ‘everything’, knowing that you haven’t done a darn thing.
I usually feel very strongly about wearing seatbelts, but if these two happened to coexist with a concrete wall at high speed, I don’t suppose anything of value would be lost.
Could we ever, for once, have a character who *isn’t* a special forces veteran? Maybe someone who worked in the motor pool or was a stock controller in a military food warehouse? Does everyone who retires from the US military now get counselling about how they will immediately be thrown into conflict through no fault…
Duh! Should’ve just put it in Full Self Driving mode and let the truck worry about everything! I don’t know why they even have glass windshields these days, they could just have a camera and a display inside the cockpit.
Or two FSD Teslas hitting each other.
You’d want to pull up next to random pedestrians and gravely say, ‘Get in. Da boss wants to talk to youse.’
Except that Musk is vastly richer than Trump, which, being the single and only measure of a person in that orbit, makes Trump feel inferior.
Maybe it’s an American thing, but placing the blame on ‘it’, ‘the dealership’, throughout doesn’t help anyone. Specific *people* were responsible. Name them, shame them, and get them out of the car business.
It seems like a weak loophole. Isn’t the standard usually that, if you say you weren’t driving, you either give up the driver or you take the punishment yourself? And if you say you sold the car, you either identify the buyer or you take the punishment until they process the change of ownership? I think the police and…
The booker was probably taken in because Schneider’s agent advertises him as “Robert S.” with a really poor-quality headshot.
I guess their lack of environmental access will ensure that it will soon be summer forever.. the hottest, stickiest summer of your life.
I don’t understand - shouldn’t he have been applauded as a hero, due to all of the lives his loud pipes saved?
Ludicrous incompetence from Tesla. GM had the 45-pound tungsten cube issue licked in the 50's! When we were young, we’d drop 45-pound tungsten cubes on each other just to say good morning! Has Musk learned nothing from other car makers?
Take an identical RV, cover it with left-wing/pro-Biden signage, send both of them down the road in convoy, and see which the cops pull over.
I consider myself firmly middle-class, and I can’t conceive of giving a first time driver a new vehicle. Something small, thoroughly used, handed down multiple times and with bodywork which looks like Mickey Rourke, yes.
40% of Americans: “I daily drive a competition-grade sled-pulling truck and treat the throttle like an on-off switch, *but* I get better mileage than a Saturn V rocket, so that’s ‘pretty good’”.
