I’d recommend reading the whole piece about the Roseanne reboot by New Yorker writer Emily Nussbaum, but the last two paragraphs get at a pretty good point about how Roseanne’s character is the one that gets the good lines:

Exactly. The MCU was made BY nerds, FOR nerds, and loving so. The DCEU (and most of the Fox/Sony stuff) was made as a cynical, corporate cash grab by a studio that couldn’t care less about comics if they tried (but when have they ever done that?).

New show runner who can only be better for the last one on a show that was rushed into production so Defenders could meet it’s time table? I kinda liked Iron Fist so then.....HELL YEAH!
