Loved the dormroom philosophizing dig. And I thought it was nice to see Elliot actually being active again, and having some agency. He spent all of last season sidelined, with Darlene and Angela really acting as the main characters.

Rami as Mr. Robot was pretty chilling. I just wanted Darlene to run as fast as possible.
This is such a dumb take. I’m sure they’ve had treatments and attempts at getting such movies off the ground, it’s not like he can snap his fingers and a movie appears.
I can’t help thinking that most of the obstacles on this show could be overcome if someone just gave Black Bolt a pen and paper.
This week’s title is from the splash page of Amazing Spider-Man #62 (while I didn’t know the issue number offhand I did think it was that Spidey issue that was reprinted in the old “The Superhero Women” trade paperback where Spidey fights Medusa. And then google helped. My nerd knowledge runs high!)
Legends of Tomorrow is simply a much more well-written show. That said, Iron Fist’s fight scenes were terrible - it was sort of the same problem; if they weren’t going to hire a good fight coordinator, why make the series at all?
Most of the episode titles are taken word for word from the titles of original comic book stories and have typical bombastic Marvel Stan-Lee-style titles, ellipses and all.
I have to hugely disagree with you about Louise. I find her endlessly irritating. She’s that quirky babble-y nerd character but in the hands of these writers she’s just insufferable. Also, the actor playing her: CLOSE YOUR MOUTH JESUS GOD.
The White House has its own official Twitter account. Twitter could ban @realDonaldTrump and still leave the official account open for actual White House business (as opposed to the deranged 3am ramblings of an insomniac narcissist with far too much power)
Yeah the surfers who are willing to die horribly for someone they have literally just met makes no sense at all.
Unless everyone actually JOINED Trump’s weird, vanity Twitter knockoff it would be a pretty significant change, I should think. And given how many social media knockoffs are born and then die unmourned nowadays, I feel like it’s unlikely many of us would...
If you thought Twitter protected racists, misogynists, abusers and nazis before, wait until you see how much their new guidelines protect them!
We still have not seen anyone actually touch Lockjaw
“We will continue to do nothing to enforce our old rules and now we have brand new rules for us to do nothing to enforce. Happy now, ladies?”
Sometimes, I think the best innovation Twitter could make is to decrease the maximum character count to 0.
Give me another chance, baby. This time it’ll be different, I swear.
Among the many, many, MANY things the last election ruined... I think Mr. Robot is among the casualties. The stakes just don’t seem as high as they did in season 1 and 2 now. I’m supposed to be afraid of Evil Corp and the Dark Army and their secret cabal of well-organized world-wide conspirators? I’m more afraid of…
...and then when Tyrell makes Mr. Robot the job offer in the 2nd episode, but Elliot rejects it, Tyrell is all “wtf?”
That makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. First, Colby to open the CTO position for Tyrell who could then hire Elliot to work on the inside.
I’m not sure that one episode of Tyrell flashbacks will do it. At this point it almost feels like we could have a whole season explaining Elliot’s lost time; Tyrell’s missing season; whatever pre-pilot mysteries we’re currently unaware of...
