Well, i for one will not sit here and let you sully the good name of Ricardo Montalban, perhaps most well known for the role of Tony Lorca on the Alfred Hitchcock presents episode “Outlaw in a Town” in 1960. I forget where else I’ve seen him

i remember that on that show with the mole women

that just makes it all the crazier that he vastly overestimated demand for the Black Keys in 2024.

Moon over Parma or Cleveland Rocks?

that’s mostly how i remember it - in syndication, something to have on in the background while correcting papers or whatever. usually with something similar like King of Queens or Seinfeld on afterwards. certainly an above average sitcom

I prefer Lanse Trelgo

forgot, there’s also the American version of Who’s Line Is It Anyway that he hosted

I wonder, do people still remember the Drew Carey show anymore?  feels like he might be mainly remembered as the Price is Right Host who took over for Barker (assuming people still remember Barker).  I assume the old show is streaming somewhere but i dunno.

i’m sure Secret Wars is meant to address that, somewhat.

yeah it ranks as my 3rd favorite post-Endgame, surprisingly. the villain could’ve used more development but some of that was the movie wanting to make the environmental catastrophe Danvers unleashed a surprise until the 3rd act

you and i are on the same page, especially with #4 & 6.

trying to tell us in the early seasons that the characters in Lost were totally Not Dead

well, the pitch would’ve gone better if the movie included a talking pie for some reason

well, now you’re just making me want to watch this movie

hopefully you’re right

I’m surprised it didn’t somehow be like one of those marvel posters where its a bunch of heads (maybe with torsos) of various sizes in proportion to their importance to the plot

could’ve used him in Loki, just lift him from 1900 or whatever and drop him in 2024.

I’m surprised they haven’t moved forward quickly with a Shang-Chi sequel, felt like that was the one bright spot among the phase 4 movies, aside from GotG vol 3. To my surprise, i’d put the Marvels as the 3rd best movie post-Endgame. everything else has been disappointing imo  (again, just in terms of the movies, im

i think their humor would’ve been fine if you just frame the story as being narrated by someone who could be exaggerating bits (like Lando for instance). but i’m not sure Disney would want to go that route either

i’m sure there’ a lot of pressure to somehow bring the Jedi into the series though.  hopefully resistance isn’t futile
