i think if anything the show would lead people to believe Wanda was heading towards a redemption arc rather than a full on heel turn, so perhaps it might have been better for viewers if they had not watched WV

I’m going to need receipts showing how Doc Strange MoM  “flopped commercially”.   Personally i didn’t care that much for it but it certainly seemed to succeed financially

hey, their sandwiches aren’t THAT bad!

Huh. I always assumed Hulu was sort of the ABC streamer (with some Fox) compared to Peacock’s NBC and Paramount Plus’ CBS.

I mean, don’t movies in general penalize people for lower income? its not like they’re free to watch at the theater

yeah pretty unintentionally hilarious line

Also, i would prefer a reboot of either Shut Your Gob  or  Do Shut Up to this

sorry John, but this is a terrible idea.  otoh hey it might last more than 12 episodes! I can’t believe i’ve been hearing about fawlty towers seemingly forever and there’s only a dozen shows? sheesh

well Waititi was the right person for Ragnarok, but we might have been better off with Banks directing Love & Thunder.  probably a lot less Korg at least

aside from Batman, most of DC’s A-listers come across as do-gooder boy scouts w/o any significant character flaws.  Hence DC goes out of the way to compensate by emphasizing their antiheros more or by recharacterizing the A-listers.   Marvel doesn’t have to do this as much since most of their heroes were much more

Is there an AI Kenny Bania? I like jokes you don’t have to think too much about

Also, I’m not sure “really likes comics written by Garth Ennis” translates into “loves superheros” given that Ennis despises superheroes (aside from Superman, inexplicably)

i mean Rogen clearly has a pretty strong affinity for adolescent humor, so not really surprising he would reject movies that don’t have the same sensibilities. he’d probably like the marvel movies if they had more farting and weed jokes

I’ve heard of Lord & Taylor

well, if its any help, i won’t be buying any

Now i’m trying to imagine some kind of Cecil DeMille-directed version of Dune starring Elvis. That would’ve been something, huh

Digable Planets

probably because they are not all about toxic masculinity.

alternatively, the gammys or the nanas
