i think it is more likely dems wring some concessions from mccarthy (in terms of perhaps committee makeups and debt limit vote) in exchange for voting present so as to lower the threshold mccarthy needs to 200 or whatever he is capable of getting

yeah this one definitely bounced back extremely well after the one stormy weekend depressed turnout a bit.  even domestically seems like its on fire now, raking in box office

isn’t that on netflix, to some extent? the whole “drop a season all at once” model doesn’t really lend itself to reviews of individual episodes since it is the opposite of appointment television. A show like this in particular seems like it would have benefited from a little time between episodes for people to debate…

i wonder if Lost being cancelled after one season would have meant the whole trend of puzzle-box genre of tv never happened, and if so would that be a good thing or a bad thing given that the solution to the puzzle mostly tends to be underwhelming when its finally revealed
