i dunno, he doesn’t seem like a real happy guy, in spite of limitless wealth, accolades and hooking up with whomever he wants.  feels like he went off the rails (and his meds) after his mom died.

I’m kind of hoping its like the Ultimate Iron Man series, which was subsequently treated as a fictional series within that world. iow lets pretend Eternals was a movie watched by 616 audiences, and not something that really happened.

i thought it was a simple way of telling her Steve’s not a virgin without having to get into the presumably more hush-hush story about Steve going back in time to restore the gems etc.  This gets her to stop going on and on about it, even the details are fabricated

great 1st episode, cgi did feel a bit dodgy in spots (altho i thought it was more noticeable with Bruce than Jenn). I liked how they jumped right to the origin without wasting tons of time setting up Jen’s pre-she-hulk life

yes, i agree with that. A bit too gory for my tastes (that’s just me) but overall a huge improvement over the 1st suicide squad and one of the better dceu entries. I just don’t think it was the success WB was hoping for, although it did lead to the peacemaker series, which at the time they liked, who knows where S2…

well, george lucas probably should look at himself in the mirror over the ‘accent choices’ in TPM. He set himself up for accusations of bigotry with that.

uh, last i checked the R rated The Suicide Squad wasn’t exactly a box office smash. Nor was R-rated Birds of Prey. DC keeps chasing that Deadpool audience and not finding it - probably Peacemaker was about closest they’ve come.
