This assumes playing fast is a detriment to how Kyrie plays. We’ve seen how deadly he is in the open floor, whether it’s from his handles or ability to finish at the rack. Playing fast would means the defense can’t all get back or not set themselves up as well as they would like. This can lead to defensive errors.

LOL. Confirmed: You weren’t actually asking. Your mind was made up and just wanted people to respond so you could attack their ideas.

He’s no longer playing with the best player on the planet, and is still somehow doing just as well as he did before. That seems like a success to me.

It’s not really changing his game, I’m assuming Kyrie was just stopping the ball to take someone 1-on-1, and Ty Lue was just telling him to make a move quickly so the defense doesn’t have time to reset. Regardless, when you hear your point guard tell your coach “It’s not my job to set up my teammates”, that’s not a

Ahh the days...I was forced to listen to that call on the radio of my mom’s car. ‘Ewing drives, finger roll...rims out!’ My god, the horror.

So many painful memories from when the Knicks were relevant :(

At least this kid practices his lay-ups, Patrick. If you think I’m not still bitter about ‘95 you are very sadly mistaken.

Counterpoint: No it won’t. Concussions are very bad, and taking additional brain hits after having a concussion are very bad too, but that isn’t the problem. The problem is repeated blows to the head. The sort of blows to the head that don’t cause a fencing response, the sort that don’t get noticed on replays, the

I’m definitely adding the Wonderwall one to my dad joke repertoire.

Big deal. I give up all the time. (Puts on sweat pants and heads to nearby gas station for dinner.)

I only got it after reading your comment, so thanks.

certified athletic trainers (ATCs) . . . neurotrauma consultants (UNCs)

The protocol does allow for a player to return to the game if he passes that initial test, and such a thing is possible, even after a big hit to the head. (Symptoms sometimes may not manifest themselves for minutes, hours, or even an entire day, if at all.)

Honestly, I think the only way it gets enforced is to punish those who don’t enforce it with concussions of equal severity.

I live in Poland now. I have a choice of at least 5 ISPs that I know of :D

“...eventually going to decline into Magic Johnson...”

Definitely concerned—he doesn’t even mention his 4-point play!
