Also CONCACAF teams make it to the knockout round all the time. No one is saying we have a Spain or Brazil in our region, but the notion that we couldn't have teams qualify in UEFA qualifying (when many times CONCACAF teams get farther than European and SA teams at the WC) is laughable.

Most of those UEFA groups are just as poor as this CONCACAF one. CONMEBOL is tough, but the US could qualify in that group.
