In my opinion, Serena did do that in her post match comments. I totally agree that the big story here is Osaka. Incredibly lethal performance in more ways than one. Her serve and her winners were just devastating. I can’t wait to see what she’ll do in future grand slams.

While I think Serena had a bad performance and succumbed to very strong emotions that she hasn’t had to calibrate just so in a while, the official’s job is keep the game fair, and not make it about himself. For all the coaching Serena needs at this point in her life, a word with her, or an unofficial warning would’ve

Are sure it only happened in Oregon? When I found out about that I just assumed a bunch of other states in this white supremacist country did that too and it was just a matter of time until I heard about it.

Well-written, humorous, and apparently annoyed some blockheads to boot. Well done sir!

Breaking news: there’s a lot more than one of them on this thread.

No. With your logic it is impossible to take on a pitch out of the strike zone after squaring. He was trying to get out of the way of a pitch that was coming at his face when he was squared. His bat and whole upper body were moving backwards when the ball struck the bat. I really don’t even get why the ump’s call is

I’m not clear on the exact timeline, but I’m pretty sure the sewage incident happened again. But I agree that it is overdramatized. But I also agree that it’s time to build a new home for the A’s, in Oakland. I also agree that Oakland would get hammered if this power outage happened there.

If you take a step back, and take another step back, the interview is extremely fucking sad. He’ll probably end up even more confused than he was on that sideline for the better part of a decade, then blowing his own head off, but he’s down there with a gaggle of reporters falling on his sword for his team and his

Not sure. Might be an institutional racist.

Yeah, I would do this too...I’ve probably only been to Olive Garden a max of six times in my life and not once in the past ten years, and basically have good memories of the food, as much as everyone loves to skewer them. I’m vegetarian and already eat a pretty carb heavy diet so I doubt it would influence my health

I mean, I’m with you but a RF is always gonna try to make that play. The uniqueness of the two situations kind of cancel each other out.

This is where you are wrong. In 2014 the A’s had a brilliant start to their season and were in the midst of three straight years of playoffs and unloaded two of their most beloved players entering their prime, one of them at mid-season. As an A’s fan for two decades, I’m used the Beane’s maneuvering and trying to flip

Yeah he cited Jordan Peele so he’s aware of that.

yeah or ‘two years removed’ dad brain still affecting ya?

this made me laugh so much

It’s training your brain’s ability to focus by focusing on one thing. Really the only difference between this an mindfulness is that your breath is always with you and googles breathing exercise isn’t.

Yes! I saw him on TV once. SO surreal!

Exactly. How thin skinned do you have to be to get this petulant about people who are just asking you not to kill unarmed people?

Yeah did those commenters above finish the article? How do read the article and still have that question? In my gut I am convinced the NFL is colluding on this but I’m not going to accuse them without evidence. Hoping to see some soon, but if I don’t, I don’t think it’s happening. They are buffoons and would not be

I fucking hate uber. But these mystical painted cars of which you speak fucking had it coming in SF. They would routinely accept calls for pickups, make you wait for an hour and never show up. So I fucking hate taxis here too.
