Nah, Japan had a handful of other very good chances after it went 2-2. I definitely would never have described Japan as ‘dominating’ at any point in this game though. But they were more than holding their own and easily could’ve won this game. But Belgium might as well have been on sleeping pills the way they played…
This game was awesome. Soccer is awesome. But when a team with as much talent as Spain (and honestly Belgium, in the first half) decides it’s better to try to melt the clock from minute one than to use their gifts to attack, there is a fucking problem. And it’s all too common.
