I was more referring to how cynical I've become about media coverage of sexual assault. It's pretty clear that crimes against white women illicit a broader reaction than those against black men.

Coverage on this story has been super limited and I'm disappointed by that. I'd hate to go in this direction but I can't help but think that if this case involved a white girl it might receive more attention.
