My union local of predominantly middle-aged, fat white guys were herded by full gear riot cops when we marched to the camp from GCT. The entire response of Bloomberg, a career Wall St. crook, was to intimidate peaceful protest against crimes that are still unpunished.

Yes. Bloomberg is one of the worst of the “let them eat cake” crowd. His goon tactics in breaking up the Occupy Wall Street camp were pure dark of night fascism.

Let’s generalize.  The bait is identity politics.  It doesn’t matter what side you’re on.

Just to note w/r/t Mr. Furman’s point, a good way to tell that corporate tax cuts are not being passed into wages through bonuses is that bonuses are not wages. A wage is what the contract says you earn for consideration by virtue of the contract being a valid, enforceable legal instrument. A bonus is additional sums…
