I think that her main problem is the simple fact that she automatically assumes anything she’s done or said is perfect and completely lacks the ability to self-censor or self-analyze.

This happened at my birthday party in high school but with firefighters. Apparently, a bunch of kids got stuck in the elevator and called 911 to be rescued. But we didn’t know that (or didn’t care) so when rescue arrived, we were all just a little too excited. Note that they did come back after their shifts were over…
