@timgray: You might be able to find a download of iOS 3. I just don't know if it'll work or not, and you won't get any of the benefits of having iOS 4, but I don't know if that's something your daughter cares about.

@Drummertist v.3: That's just the front page. The profiles are still cluttered, the settings and config pages are still confusing, the "layout designer" is dumb and useless, you still get annoying ads in the MySpace Mail section and everything but MySpace Music is a complete waste of time.

Some of these have already been available on Google Apps...I use GReader every day with my Google Apps account.

I've been wanting this for so long. Sometimes, I accidentally try to plug in the dock connector in the wrong direction and I feel that could be damaging it. With a Magsafe connector, it wouldn't matter which way you plug it in.
