@zeco: You could try install BarTab. It'll keep all your tabs, but don't load anything until you click on the tab. It'd be useful for saving memory, but not if you want to have something load in the background.

@Aaronjk: I was assuming a camera's "onboard memory" meant the camera had a little bit of memory so if you took the memory card out, you could still take 1 or 2 pictures.

@DJEsch: If you jailbreak your iPhone and install SBsettings, you can enable "Numeric GSM". I don't know if it works, since my iPhone is used like an iPod touch.
