People on reddit/in the /r/Movies subreddit are *obsessed* with True Lies and Natalie Portman as a child in The Professional.

One of my least-favorite things is also how many hospital systems’ portals have Meta pixels helpfully installed, to serve up your medical info to Facebook for....reasons! What a great time to be alive. https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/2/23288612/meta-hosptials-sued-patient-privacy-facebook-data-hipaa

It’s “frayed wool chiffon.” https://www.thombrowne.com/fk/shopping/black-frayed-wool-chiffon-gunclub-check-tweed-high-armhole-sport-coat-16426637

I was on a delayed flight once with a woman who had gone to a BBL mill to get one. Her hips/butt looked huge from what they had done, as well as from swelling. She was wearing a full-body compression garment and bandages under her clothes, and I wondered if she would have any issues on the flight. I didn’t even know

Different Jason Lee, unless you count credits on reality shows.

Reading about this Tom Hanks version, I want to see the Swedish film of it from 2015.

....said fat people everywhere when she was made a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.

Your comment is two months old but it looks like they acted fast and now Vicki Lawrence is playing Jordan’s character’s mother on the show.  https://www.tvinsider.com/gallery/call-me-kat-season-3-episode-10-vicki-lawrence-phil-mom-photos/#2

Six!!! I had one each for bunions (and having just looked at x-rays, it might be time to get someone to take those very old screws out) and that was bad enough.

I had bunion surgery on each foot two years apart - and yes, still wearing “health shoes” that cost the most. I realized I needed it when I tried to put on a pair of cheap Target boots and my foot just wouldn’t flex that way. After the surgery - they still wouldn’t, but I’m very glad I did it.

I don’t even know if the set was considered “the U.S.” since the filming was done in Romania. This article doesn’t seem to mention that.

They also have something similar at Target, and they come in ceramic ramekins that I might possibly use for something in the future (or not, but they are very cute.)

I think what “ruined the family” was the insistence on using medical science to bring six more babies into the world when they already had two. THEN televising it. I don’t know if Kate was always a monster or the pressures of life in that family + fame did it, but institutionalizing a kid with ADHD for years (and then

Ahh - so that child in red on the left must be his actual kid then, since 1) she looks a lot like him, and 2) her last name is Allen-Dick.

Documentary Now! is confusing to me. There is a Season 1 and a Season 4. Also, IFC runs giant blocks of old sitcoms, and during the time and day when this show is supposed to be airing, it has “Everybody Loves Raymond” listed. Since I’m one of those people who still has a DVR, I will set it to record ELR and hope for

All his statements seem to elide his first wife and THREE EXISTING CHILDREN (one of whom died from an overdose) very neatly. His marriage with Woodward was complicated - but she was pretty amazing, for someone who was pretty torn about having kids at all, raising his kids as her own, having three kids too - and when I

He’s long dead, but sure.

Regarding fidelity in his marriage, Paul Newman once famously said, “Why go out for hamburgers when I have steak at home?”

He did cheat, though. Was an alcoholic, too.

The Daily Beast article said that “he thought the vaccine would somehow impede his recovery” from surgery. That sounds like a magical thinking reason for wanting an exception, not a real one, like being allergic to one of the component ingredients.
