This article brought up two wonderful memories - one of a dear person taking me out for a coffee granita in a very specific place in New York, and another dear person (now deceased) taking a whole bunch of people to a place in Chicago called Mario’s, for lemon (water ice? I love and have loved Jean Smart forever so I am really enjoying Hacks. I also am enjoying scrutinizing Hannah Einbinder for resemblances to her mom, Laraine Newman. She’s great, and the two of them play very well off of each other.
