When we first saw Paula, I got major Veronica (season 16) vibes.

I enjoyed this episode so much, I looked up who wrote it (the last time I did that was when Megan Amram wrote “Bart vs. Itchy and Scratchy.”) Also, did Julie Kavner get her vocal cords seen to? She didn’t sound like she was straining to say every word like has in recent seasons. Also also, this was the first episode

I just realized the mom is Claire Fisher.

It’s sort of like that movie with Haley Joel Osment as a sad robot boy.

I love your shirt.

God, this is so shitty. I hate it.

I have asked this to many people previously and drifted off while hearing the answer.

I was coming here to say she has become her own wax figure. No need for Madame Tussaud’s.

Is it totally lost? It still seems to be up there, although the comments section isn’t. I have been trying to follow along for the past few days, so I know about the whole stick to sports, firing the guy who didn’t stick to sports, herbs in charge, etc.

That is a story of true resourcefulness! I miss my grandmothers as well - they also had stories of how they made do and mended during times of shortage <3

You were the opposite of wrong - you were extremely correct! Not only is it NOT an urban myth, it is a tiny fact that has been in circulation for decades!

I’m not an expert on the Grease wardrobe - I’ve just read about these broken-zipper pants many many times. Evidently they are still newsworthy.

Also, just the concept of making a big deal about food seems anathema to the whole Kardashian body-focused culture.

His track record of taking his BCO concept from site to increasingly obscure site and then ending up nowhere is just sad. I liked the reader submissions, when they seemed actually possible.

The pants were vintage at the time of filming and even older now - evidently sewing her into them on the set was easier than replacing a vintage zipper. I’ve been reading about the broken zipper on Sandy’s makeover pants for more than 20 years.

ikewise, Hogan’s dolls were a hit at a nearby nursing home, where doctors would use them in therapy with patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

She’s a much thirstier version.

I was just thinking about that.
