It’s incredibly fun watching the pathetic fanboys freaking out over Ezra not taking his lightsaber back and letting the icky GIRL keep it.

Hell, a good amount of animation people are like this even outside Cal Arts. Matt Groening does little to no actual production for his shows, nor does Seth MacFarlane (but at least with him he’s acting in them extensively)

I know exactly the person. The type that needs to “control” the party and what everyone is doing and will badmouth whatever it is if it wasn’t his idea

Uh. You just made me realize why I found most boardgames enthusiasts insuferable.

As someone in the animation industry I can tell you this is the motivation for like 90% of Cal Arts graduates. Get a show on Cartoon Network with 100+ episodes that has decent merchandise where you voice a main character so when they make a new toy you get paid $3k to come in for an hour of voice work. Funny to see

Uneventful.

I am now more interested in this than I am interested in Justin Roiland.

Are you just not familiar with Star Wars at all? Ahsoka did not materialize from thin air. She was on television for over 12 years. And all of that was canon.

Not much happens?! I thought this was the most exciting ep yet in terms of action.

I thought it was a great episode, kept me entertained.

Well, my guess is that he wasn’t as talented as these writers and couldn’t come up with better ideas. Which is in no way something to be ashamed of but still very hard to face and accept.

Might have been very hard for him to be the face of the show and at the seeing the show taken away from him creatively.

It’s a

I know Harmon has made mistakes, but I’m always happy that he has a complete self awareness of his own faults and seems to make genuine efforts to improve himself.

“HEY PETE GET THE FUCK IN HERE WE’RE PLAYING CZERNOBOG IMPERIUM DOMAINS OF FOREVERIAUM: 13TH EDITION AND WE NEED A SEVENTH PLAYER SO WE DON’T HAVE TO USE THE LIMITED RULESET-”

There was no real need beforehand for us to know what Roiland's creative involvement was. Given that Roiland did the central voices and was essentially the face of the franchise, he was protected a lot.

“Oh, Harmon brought in his Harmon writers.”
That right there...Justin could have brought in his own writers. Or written more himself. He was co-creator and executive producer of the show, there was nothing stopping him.

But he didn’t seem interested in that. By all the accounts I’ve seen (including Harmon’s), Justin

It’s crazy that we didn’t hear that Roiland wasn’t involved creatively with the show and was just doing voices until the abuse allegations against him come out. It was several seasons that people thought he was still doing writing for it. I wonder how that story didn’t get out until last year.

Wow, that’s pretty on the money.

Specific, but also accurate.

Roiland looks like the kinda manchild who brings a board game no one has heard of to a house party and throws a tantrum when no one wants to play.

I have friends who stopped watching over the constant belching. If anything, they may get more viewers out of the change.
