Which reminds me of one of the funniest lines in Justice League Unlimited

I love:

guy thinks “I dont want to see old women on my screen and over 30 is old women” is a good take. Bold strategy, Cotton.

“How did you know you were bulletproof?”
“I didn’t—I just knew you weren’t.”

This show has been an absolute delight and I hope it runs for a few seasons. I’d love to see some other classic DC heroes brought into this dynamic, but I also want it to stay the Clark, Lois, and Jimmy show. I really hope if they bring in more of the DC universe it’s done in very limited amounts in one-off episodes.

From the Marvel movies to the Arrowverse to even Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies embracing this completely, but it’s really popular today that superheroes don’t have secret identities anymore.

Sam Barsanti got a key detail wrong in his attempt at analysis” is, sadly, not a huge surprise these days.

I mean, I kinda disagree with the thesis here — Clark/Superman isn’t being ignored at all, he’s very much the main character, and it’s an extremely charming portrayal of him (although, of course, “extremely charming” describes everyone and also the show itself). Clark’s getting a lot of deserved praise for his himbo

…tell me you haven’t seen this show without saying so.

No Lex Luthor? Am I the only one who immediately suspected that Parasite’s assistant Alex was him?

yeah that plan worked out just great for Richard Donner I wonder why most directors might be hesitant..

Just because Superman is a rookie hero in the movie doesn’t mean Lois has to be a rookie reporter.

I thought it was refreshing that they figured it out so fast. It makes sense that the average citizen isn’t going to figure out that Superman is Clark Kent (because none of them have even heard of Clark Kent) but Clark’s two best friends? Who are around him all the time, and who are both investigative reporters? And

Between this early days Superman show and Superman & Lois, there are 2 surprisingly good Superman shows on TV right now.

After watching the first three episodes on Max, I realized that this is the kind of Superman dynamic that has been sorely lacking since Superman II. I find myself smiling through every episode.

Who is this film for tho...? It looks like a kid film but between the more sophisticated animation and the callbacks you mention, this actually sounds like a nostalgia film for adults and not geared at modern kids.

Sorry, but it’s actually ‘Raphael is cool but rude (give me a break!)‘

Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines
Raphael is cool but crude
Michelangelo is a party dude

I tried to come into this episode with an open mind. Musical episodes make me very nervous. Nothing tops Buffy.

All I know is, next breakup I’m going to be singing “I’m the X” like a motherfucker.
