As to his main point, putting aside his usual right-wing conspiracy theory blather, he’s not wrong. After she tore up the picture of the pope and was booed at the Dylan (Dylan!) concert, her career was essentially over. She has been ignored and sidelined since then. Her struggles contributed, sure, but overall this is

Morrissey is a prime ass, but that doesn’t stop him from being absolutely right about this.

self-made

That was great.

It really is as good as I was hoping! the weird thing is that online , no one I’ve seen in either the SNW or Lower Decks camps had a bad word to say about it* which is AMAZING , that never happens with trek fans , usually someone will grumble about something.

While I love both Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, this crossover was more than I could have hoped for! It’s been a long time since any episode of television has made me excited to watch it a second time as soon as possible.

This episode was great. I had a really fun time watching it, and Quaid especially is amazing - he makes the transition from voice-acting as Boimler to portraying a compelling live-action version of him seamlessly, and has great on-screen chemistry with basically everyone in the SNW cast.

THAT. WAS. AWESOME.

Lower decks makes so much sense now when we know everyone is drunk.

Great episode, the moment where Christine realized that her relationship with Spock doesn’t even make it to a historical footnote was genuinely touching. “History needs him to be the exact opposite of what you need him to be in a relationship” is hard to hear.

One of the best episodes of Star Trek I have ever seen, They even redid the SNW intro in the LD style, and added little references here and there.

Don’t skip the opening credits. It’s brilliant.

I’m not saying I think either Barbie or Oppenheimer will be bad, and I’m not saying that people who they’ll be good are bad, but I am saying that I’ve personally reached the point where I personally think it wouldn’t be a wholly terrible thing if people shut the living fuck up about Barbie and Oppenheimer for maybe

Damn, even the behind the scenes involving Pike is wholesome, how charming and infuriating! :-p

I thought it was a good episode. The central mystery was nothing exceptional, but I actually view that as a plus. It gave them more time to do A LOT of broad character development. I really felt like I got a good juicy bit on a half-dozen characters. This is exactly what an ensemble show should be, and I think Star

I’ve read that Anson Mount was out a lot on paternity leave. To me, that’s all to the good, as it allows the other characters a chance to breathe, and for us to see some of their stories.

They’re really giving Pike the shaft so far this season. This Kirk is growing on me, but they’re taking a decent amount of screentime from Anson Mount, who is probably my favorite captain since Picard. He deserves better.
