At even just 300', it’s effectively out of shotgun range.

Opening scene- Ridgeline owner opens hood to show Bro-dozer friend the engine.

Kudos to gizmodo for running the story at all, but this isn’t surprising in any way. Facebook has always been known to run social experiments on their users. I’m not sure if if this qualifies as an experiment or just a flat-out agenda-pushing bias. Either way, it’s pretty obvious just from how they phrase their “news”

Yes, differing opinions should always be suppressed. That has worked so well throughout history.

I have the same opinion on motorcycles. I have way more fun on my 7hp Honda CB100 than a 140hp sport bike. I rarely find myself wanting a bike with more than 50hp for almost any occasion.

A new GTI with an air-cooled flat-four Bug engine making 40hp in the front would have been more exciting for such an occasion.

That’s true. My brother has two MG’s, one of which he put the chrome bumpers on and filled the plastic bumper’s mounting bracket holes.

In ‘74 MG had to put the plastic bumpers on them and raise the front end to meet crash regulations in the US. It’s still fairly easy to find older models, which look much better.

I don’t think it’s ugly, but I think the Evora and Elise have it beat in the looks department. It does sound better than the Loyota engine.

At first, I thought this happened at the Foxconn factory, and it was just a slow Wednesday. “Only one body today.”

Doug, everything you complain about is how they get the price down to... Holy shit, it’s $65k.

Everything should have a tax label, just like calorie labels.

My favorite part is when the one dude shows up to help right his fallen comrade and almost runs him over instead.

Always look at a local credit union for financing. I’ve often used a small, local credit union and find rate as low as 1.8% on used cars less than 7 years old.

Because apprently if something escapes “government regulation” it’s obviously wrong and should be immediately reigned in.

“Jo Hannah and Susanah’s air suspension failed seven days into the race.”

I’ll just leave this here.

I’m one of the few people who is in actual need of the 300 mile range. I have a twice-a-month 175 mile freeway commute, so a 300 mile range is necessary (I assume a range of 220mi or so at ~72mph).

Oh trust me. A friend and I are trying to find a couple of 450X’s and any variant of the G650X’s. I think both those bikes were about 10 years ahead of their time and no one bought them.
