And no matter what sounds Ford pumps into the cabin, you'll be jealous of anyone that has a V8 and wish you saved for a bit longer.

Ground-up, purpose built car designed for government use? Sounds like a job for Carbon Motors. Oh wait...

You're right. Setting up a lobbying fund is a much better idea. I'm on it.

Months after the seizures, a fight to get the Defenders back is being waged in federal court by Will Hedrick, a Land Rover enthusiast and bankruptcy lawyer by day who has taken on the case pro bono.

As far as I know, they no longer make that engine. They're focused more on their I4, which is a shame.

It only sounds bad to race-baiting idiots like you who read far more into something that isn't there. No one said anything about his race.

But a hellcat Challenger/Charger should win every time...

Reasonably-priced monster trucks. Damn things are expensive.

I just priced out the GMC Canyon I would buy- $38,730. Someone please buy that truck so I can buy it used in five years for half that price.

I'm willing to bet "Cash for Clunkers" was a major cause of the Taurus eradication.

For the E39, a stick would be preferable, but an auto is easier to find. For a manual, the E46 is a bit more fun and much easier to find in a stick. I'm looking hard for a 330i ZHP 6-speed right now.

I haven't owned an E39 yet, but I've had quite a few E46's in both stick and auto and I agree, the automatic in them is a very solid transmission. Not a bad unit at all.

I didn't say a manual swap. I said I'd rather have that E39 with the lower miles, Sport package, and overall better condition even though it's an auto. That said, this car wasn't on ebay when Tavarish posted the challenge so it's moot anyway.

This 5-series is a much better BMW. I'd trade the 5-speed manual for the M-sport package any day.

How lazy does a dealership have to be to not replace the front bumper strip, bumper cover bolt/clip and badge?

The aluminum has a lot more bounce than I would have assumed. I'd like to see how it holds up against a typical fender bender than a sledge hammer.

Overinflated tires, you say? Obviously not Tom Brady's car.

That will make you pucker a bit.

I got my license about 10 years ago in highschool and I think it cost me about $5000. I flew a Cessna 150 for most of it.
