this kind of stuff is lame. I love seeing other games take systems from other games but in a new unique way. I feel having patents on gameplay mechanics/systems is just going to limit creativity. Imagine if Mario had the patent on platforming, doom had the patent on fps. These companies need to get over themselves.

as someone who has spent a 32 hour day at the office during crunch. This was a wonderful read and makes me very happy to support supergiant games. I even double dipped and bought hades on Epic and Switch

why not. I lived in Florida for 27 years and it was the worst experience. Especially when you could be standing still outside during the evening and the humidity was so horrible you’d be drenched in sweat. Technology is all about making our lives easier and more comfortable. With your argument , do you not use AC in

wow that gameplay trailer for valhalla sure had a whole lot of gameplay going on...

so I know a lot of people hated the shadowrun fps , but it was one of my favorite games of all time and this is giving me those vibes

it’s the only Ubisoft franchise that I find fun anymore. everything else has felt stale

as someone who met Alec back in 2007 GDC and Derek Yu when they won the IGF I had helped them run their booth so they could grab food. and later saw Alec again in 2014 At GDC.

Delicious Candies are my weakness which is why I’m making a video game about fighting against them haha. This article might be some inspiration for some new enemies!!!!

yeah I actually got a refund for hades b/c I bought it like 5 days before the sale. I thought that was pretty nice because I didn’t have to do a thing

one of my favorite shows of all time. I never got into their other shows but sealab 2021 was my jam

So basically Risk of Rain 2?

Risk of rain 2 is great!!!!

I would love to do something like this. Right now I’m working my day job which enables me to bring in other people to work on my game but if I were to quit my day job then I wouldn’t be able to work with those wonderful people. Maybe some day I can figure it out. Until then I’m thankful for even being able to do what

oh wow I had no clue thanks for the heads up I’ll have to check that out

I really have been missing destructibility in games. When I played Red Faction Guerilla I thought surely this is the future of games where I can literally drive a truck through a building. But so far I haven’t played a game with that same level of destructibility.

I wasn’t expecting much but figured since it was free that it was worth a try. I’m honestly surprised by how well the game played on day 1. I was playing on the ps4 pro with a friend we had no issues getting into games or joining up in a lobby. Overall it was a fun experience. I dunno if I’ll keep playing the game or

interesting games about nightmares. I saw one the other day where you play a nightmare interrupting someones peaceful dreams.

It’s called Night of the Blood Moon
