I’d like to add that every weapon here is 2nd to the real power house of this game; the AR.

This title, without a doubt, has the most lack luster set of new weapons. So many of them are mid-tier power weapons. If I go up against an AR with any of them the fight feels even. The Skewer shot is the only thing I’ll pick up b/c it 1 shots vehicles.

It reminds me of the Halo CE fuel rod cannon.

Nothing has been as OP as the Halo CE pistol. It was borderline game breaking in MP. I still find the Sidekick to be useless because of how many shots it takes. For me, Reach pistol was perfect.

There’s a setting that may hurt/improve performance depending on your CPU called async compute. Here’s a quote I found from an article:

“Essentially Async Compute is a feature that allows GPUs based on AMD’s GCN to perform graphics and compute workloads at the same time.”

Otherwise I think the GPU may be hurting it.…

This might be a hot take, but I personally feel that objective based gameplay took a dive when mics randomly phased out in the early 2010s. Most objective matches feel like things just have to align right to score. This is not unique to this title or even series either.

Your specs have to be pretty low to not run it on low. I have a GTX 1060, 8th gen i7, 16bgRAM which is several years dated at this point and was able to run on high at 60fps but my laptop CPU eventually throttled. Dropped it to medium and things are better, but still hot.

I still find the traditional experience based rewards to be the most effective. Tying experience and skill to rewards gives them a genuine value since they have to be legitimately earned.
