Roiphe hasn’t changed since her 1994 book, “The Morning After”, where she expressed concern with the women’s movement on campus such as Take Back the Night, and her worry about “rape-sensitive communities.” It sounds like she was ready to write a variation on the same theme, 24 years later.

These teachers don’t have to abide by a code of conduct? No definition of harassment? No conception of power structures between teachers and students? No idea of what discrimination means? These teachers may be indeed “blowing off steam” but if they are BUILDING up steam as evidenced by their petty bullshit…
