Speaking of faux BMWs - this was parked outside my office a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been waiting for an appropriate time to share & ask what it’s based on. Had a BMW steering wheel, too.  Kidneys & badges all looked perfect.  No identifying info on donor car I could find.  

$1,500 for boring-ass WHITE paint? Yes, I know it’s the special metallic version, but still.

This might work for a Mustang completist who needs to check off the II box ... but it’s an eady CP for me.  Had a fraternity bro w/ one of these, and I recall thinking it was a dog way back in 1983.

I agree that it's a great color for the model - just worried about repair costs over the next 2-3 years of ownership.

6-7 years after purchase and it still has a lien?  Plus 114k miles?  Looks nice, but no thanks -- expensive repairs ahead, I'd guess.

But think about the decades of incredible technological advances in car-disassembly that we lost because of that veto!
