Ehhh, they should have ended Stargate after SG-1. SGU had none of the spirit SG-1, and I will admit, to a lesser extent Atlantis did. It was just trying to be another overly grim sci-fi show riding on the laurels of BSG. SG-1 never needed to be all grim and depressing to have good drama.

@infi: PC has more games than the 360 and PS3 combined.

MMO by John Woo!

@Golgari: The hell do you mean, "people that live in the US will never like this game because"? I live in the US and I love Metro 2033. Not all US gamers are fratboys, ya know.

@Platypus Man: A little late Bioware, don't ya think?

A Mass Effect 2 demo now? A little late, ya think?

DRRRRRRR DRRRRRR DRRRRRRR

@DocWha: I'm now imagining a Bollywood version of Fear and Loathing.

We can't stop here! This is yeti country!

Model M!

@sbongard15: Also, considering the amount of press RO2 is getting, and how popular Ro1 was, I'd say they're gaining ground.

@sbongard15: New perks and weapons balance isn't changing up the core gameplay or adding anything new to the genre.

@sbongard15: Of course they are. They're actually introducing interesting and new gameplay mechanics, not just reusing the exact same formula for five years. What setting the game is in doesn't matter, it's the changes to the core *gameplay* that pushes it forward.

@Riquez: It upsets me that Activision and Treyarch spend tens of millions and many man-hours a year making the same game since CoD2, while a tiny developer of less than 24 people known as Tripwire is actually pushing the FPS genre forward.

@Riquez: And the rifle rounds in disintegrating metal links didn't come about till around WW2.

So I should start taking aspirin daily when I reach my 50's?

@Arctic_Visionary: To be fair though, book five would have been out much earlier if it hadn't grown so large that Martin was forced to split it into two books, which is why it's been in the works for so long. After Dance, the next two novels should come out much quicker.

@forsinain42: Sweet mother, it IS him! And I thought the actor who played Confidence was actually American...wow.

@AdoraBelle: "Well Timmy, I was sitting at my computer playing Minecraft when a friend messaged me."
