@General Gumball: It's not just America that has legal gun ownership. In some European countries you're practically issued a firearm. Then again, they have compulsory military service in those countries. Hardly any crime though.

As much as I would love a remake or a sequel to Marathon, it's so closely related to Halo I don't see them doing it at the moment unfortunately.

@imboom: BC2 does sound masterfully. It's one of those areas that MW2 just absolutely sucked in, it had some pretty bad sound design, especially for the weapons.

That's pretty damn lazy on the devs part, seeing as how pretty much every other game out there has proper widescreen support.

I could see this working. Maybe have most of the game a dedicated map interface where you plot your course, torp spreads, etc, with some cutscenes whenever you attack a ship.
