I like the British model. Deliver a complete story. Film the number of episodes it takes to tell it. If it’s popular and the writers can come up with something else you get a second series. If not you at least have a complete story that can fill a rainy afternoon. You don’t have 10 episodes of filler that exist solely…

But they weren’t dead, and the island wasn’t purgatory. The flash sideways in S6 was set in the characters’ shared afterlives (and was a misstep, for sure), but the main island storyline had nothing to do with that.

I’m more concerned that the daughters are still shrieking like banshees to the point that my ears bleed.

Eh, it’s fairly safe to subtract 2-3 inches from actors’ “official” heights. E.g., Robert Downey, Jr. is officially “5'9,”” which, uh, sure, buddy.

It’ very nit-picky. We scream about representation, and when someone does it, it still isn’t good enough and then we shit on the people who are on our side.

Agreed. There’s always going to be *someone* that doesn’t like the way you run the ship. As you correctly pointed out, LMM has done more for minorities than most people in the same profession/position.
