I think this is a truth some people could stand to realize: just because a movie comes out of Europe does not automatically mean it is worth a shit.

He revised his Brown Bunny review when he saw a different cut.

I'll always like Ebert for being one of the few mainstream critics who appreciated and understood exactly what Punisher: War Zone was doing, and only gave it two stars "because it's simply so disgusting".

Probably because he judged it Watchmen as the movie it was instead of the adaptation people wished it was.

I really hated how they cut zombie Stephen out of the story. Hanging Pharisees with his outlaw disciple brothers, boo-yah!

Probably not. Why in the world would you trust them?

Only if their ratings go down because of it. Which they probably won't, because the fanbase that started out with the show has altered significantly. Book readers are now only a small percentage.

What, you think Locke's story arc wasn't a stroke of genius?

How did she disappear? She's basically the ending of AFFC, and then Brienne is leading Jaime to her in ADWD.

I don't think there's any kind of happy ending for that character, but I do think she'll have an important impact on at least two characters, obviously.

I think you would see more scenes that take place in an interior room instead of in the Irish countryside. Which, I mean, okay. Why not? Well, at this point, the show's plot is moving towards having to have more exterior scenes, so…I don't think it's in the cards.

GRRM, cutting things? You jest.

Well, you do have to wonder who is going to eat those honeyed locusts.

Folderol. Balderdash. Bally-hoo.

No we wouldn't.

That factor is kind of the point of the thing, though. You lose all the texture and flavor with all these cuts and revisions. It's like a bad, dry steak versus a good, juicy steak. They both fill you up. But wouldn't you rather have the juicy steak?
