Nice try but CCC 2185 states that you shouldn’t do any activities, including work, that “hinder the worship owed to God”. You can work and not hinder your worship. It’s not an either/or type of thing.

Absolutely wrong, you can get them whenever you want. You said it yourself, you have to go see your doctor and get a prescription. It’s a prescription medicine so that’s what you, and everyone else, has to do to get that drug. You just don’t like doing that; too bad.
Your work is not denying you anything. You are free to buy birth control pills (or any other form of birth control) whenever you want. They didn’t make you sign something that said you will NEVER buy or use birth control.
Why should your birth control be a ‘right’? Medical care is a commodity and we get what we can afford. If you can’t afford $5 a month, or free in some instances, then you need to prioritize what you’re spending your money on.
Simple, don’t work for that company. If you don’t share the companies core beliefs and their mission then leave. Nobody is forcing you to work for that company and you have choices so go find a company that’s a better fit for your own beliefs.
Agree and that’s a good comment. It cracks me up when people talk about ‘affording’ birth control pills.
You’re a moron who doesn’t know the difference between estimated and actual. Go back to your mom’s basement and keep playing your PS4 and leave the adults alone.
No, it’s not baloney and it’s not ‘impossible to know who benefits from the plan’. As I said before, most of the details were already known. Sure, they added a $10k SALT deduction when previously they removed it. But they also kept in the $500k home mortgage interest deduction.
Yes, if it stays on this same course it’s still better for the country than what’s there now.
True, however it hasn’t changed dramatically from what was proposed a few weeks ago. They’ve been arguing over some smaller details. Also, I did say ‘rough estimates’ because until it’s signed into law, we’ll never know the actual numbers for sure.
Yes, they disappear and are replaced by a much larger standard deduction.
That’s kind of stupid. Historically speaking, tax cuts have brought in more revenue to the Fed than tax rate hikes or new taxes.
Excellent points! Thanks for breaking that out for people. Each tax payer will have to look at their individual situation. For most, they’ll end-up paying less tax.
“...the cops don’t do much (at least to white drivers) “ What a stupid thing to say.
That’s a straw-man argument. Every single person advocates for laws and preventing others from doing things they don’t like based on ‘what they believe in’. For example, laws against murder are based on our belief that hurting others is bad and we want to prevent people from doing that.
That’s a really nice comment that demonstrates the liberal-progressive tolerance and treating everyone equally that we’ve all heard about.
You need to realize that Rev Martin is a very liberal, progressive priest and his views are often not in line with either the Bible, Catholicism, or Christianity. Jesus taught that ALL sin separates us from God and there’s no sin that worse than any other.
I bought this thermostat from my local electrical company. They provide a $100 instant rebate on the price.

No, I spelled it correctly. Trump is also media-hungry but he’s already got the media following him around and reporting every sentence he utters. Comey knows his time in the spotlight is short and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to stay there. WSJ did a good write-up recently about him, it’s worth a read if…
The best thing he can do right now is not tweet or talk at all. Defer everything to Mueller’s investigation. Comey is a media-hungry jerk who will do & say anything to be in the spotlight. Let him have his time right now.
