She never should have put herself in the position to be criticized.

She looks like Caitlyn Jenner.

“Your welcome guys, we just cured anxiety” *Whoooooooosh: Anxiety goes over 9000

Also...

Trump will pardon Stone, he loves pardoning criminals, who he thinks are good people just like him.

I posted this upthread...I howled.

I saw someone on twitter say “You’re not even the boogeywoman of the view”

“I feel like you’re the boogeywoman of the right, and I’m the boogeywoman of the left,” co-host Meghan McCain said...”

McCain: “I feel like you and I are really similar...”

Also, the AOC Rage on the right regularly reaches supernova levels. I rarely see anyone on the left do more than laugh at McCain.

These are great examples to use in a discussion of AOC. She reminds me of some of the great civil rights leaders from history, in that she’s willing to say what she’s passionate about and not couch it to soothe those who hate her for it. She’s very exciting.

She’s not the boogyman. She’s the court jester.

Well, did you know that she’s the daughter of the late John McCain??? Did you?!  Just watch the show, she’ll tell you (100x’s).

If AOC is the boogeywoman of the right, it’s because she’s out there actually trying to fight for something better for the whole of society.

McCain described Sanders as promoting the “complete paradigm shift of the American system as we know it.”

I grew up watching Good Times reruns and always loved Willona. Seeing her slowly but surely grow into the life she wanted and needed helped make up for how many times the show refused to let the characters succeed. She and Janet Jackson were also great as mother and daughter - I was happy to hear they were close to

Yeah, I’m sure Jerry wrote “my favorite ____” on a lot of scripts for the actors. “To Poppie, my favorite villain”. “To Dugan, my favorite Elaine co-worker”.

This is great. Random Roles is the best feature on AVClub and I’m happy it’s back in this format.

I had no idea re: The Jeffersons theme song. The 1970s had so many great memorable TV show themes, you know? Jeffersons, Good Times, Welcome Back Kotter, Rockford Files, Starsky and Hutch, Three’s Company, Laverne and Shirley, Taxi.
