The awesome is too damn high.
Pentax K-r vs Nikon d3100...
@Ryan: But the K-x is older, right?
Haven't all the exploits been plugged already? There's a reason they're called zero day exploits.. They are used before they get plugged.
@pandaSmore: So what was the old video?
@Ryan: Now I've got LOTS to consider. If it wasn't for the manufacturer lock in, I'd get a Pentax, no questions asked. But I'm not the oldest person in the world, and what camera I use on a daily basis could change quickly. BUT every review I've read praises the K-R's photo quality. I think I'll get it. I'll think…
@DesignKid: The link no longer works.... I need to know whether I'm on there.
@Ryan: Argggg, now I cant decide between the d3100 and the K-r. Any advice? And someone said finding glass for Pentax cameras is becoming more difficult, is that true?
@tedknaz is right OK: North Gizmodo is best Gizmodo!
@bakana: It was, they used video of that sequence during their conference and everyone laughed (including me)
I nostalgia'd so hard.
Camera: Dual Front 5MP, Single Rear 1.3MP
@kejoxen: I don't have any glass at all, so I don't really have any allegiances yet. However, I might get a Nikon d3100 at the same time, so I'm not sure what exactly to do. Where would I get the film developed? I don't know how to do darkroom stuff..
@electricarchie: I'm planning to go into both film and digital SLRs at the same time, it should be interesting... thanks!
@Ryan: Thanks for your input, I'll probably go with an MX (and maybe a Nikon d3100). Thanks again!
Would a Canon AE-1 be a good starter camera?
