It's partially his fault, yes. He should have controlled himself and realized the situation he was in: tresspassing and yelling at a man with a gun in front of his daughter.

They're are shades of grey, definitely agree with that. I tend to think WWIDITS? What would I do in that situation? Not argue, leave ASAP, wait for cops, etc...

Lesson: If you are trespassing onto someone's property, and that someone has a gun, don't "pop off," to use a favorite term of our first couple.

Keep them in storage, but a storage unit no more than 3 miles away. If your getting robbed, call the police and drive to your storage unit. You should get back home before the police arrive and can apprehend the robbers and hold them for a couple minutes until the police get there.

That could have helped, but what surely didn't is this young man's terrible attitude. Arguing with a man with a gun is Darwinism in real life.

Lesson: When your in a compromising situation where you have no leverage, don't aggravate the party with leverage.

"Women" are more risk averse with their money. They will neither lose it nor double it.
