I’m pretty sure nobody at Kotaku is using slideshows.   And no, it wouldn’t be perfect.  No way i’m re-loading the page 50 times.

It seems kinda weird to me that the entire discourse around Halo Infinite is about the game’s multiplayer mode, to the extent that nothing about the campaign is even being mentioned...

People talk about textures and all that, but having a good coder who can make some good compressed files go a very very long way. 

Bond movies should also be fun. The same goes for superhero movies. 

What do most of these movies have in common? They fucking suck.

From Russia With Love is the exception. That is actually one of the best Bond movies ever and it is the one they always name-check when they say, “We’ve gotten too far away from the spirit of Bond.”

I’ve always found the Bourne films to be incredibly overrated. I barely hear anyone talk about them these days, so it’s weird to claim that they torpedoed a franchise that has thus far outlived them.

You're missing the 2 70s Bonds (LALD & TMWTGG, I think) that tried to cash in on the then popular good ol' boy smash 'em up trend. There was that Southern sheriff that Bond encounters twice, who was clearly a forerunner of Roscoe P Coltrane.

I’m genuinely interested in the Napoleon movie. I wonder if he is going to use any of Kubrik’s plans. Kubrick had planned a Napoleon movie for years but didn’t get around to it.

I feel it is incumbent to add that Upgrade’s Logan Marshall Green is a dead ringer for Tom Hardy.

Have you seen Leigh Whanell’s “Upgrade”? I saw that first and only decided to see Venom when folks said it was basically a lesser version of Upgrade. Fairly accurate, and that made it worth a watch.

I would chalk that up as it being a much weirder film than you would assume. It’s bro-ish and stupid enough to satisfy juveniles but has a streak of pure strangeness that at a glance, makes one wonder if there isn’t more depth to it?

The World Is Not Enough is one of my favorite Bond theme songs and very underrated

Quantum's "Another Way to Die" is underrated, imo.
