Wait, are we sure it’s June 10th and not October 6th? It’s the future, they might have embraced DDMMYY.

The blue lives matter thing gets on my tits. No… choosing a job that has some risk is in no way shape and form as being born black and being treated as less because of it. Don’t like the risks of the job you’re paid to fucking do that you chose to do… get a fucking different job.

I find it interesting, too, that it wasn’t until real, concrete evidence of police behaving badly started coming to light and real talk of reform started becoming mainstream that these disrespectful, desiccated US flags popped up on some people’s lawns and pickup trucks.

Accountability. When there is none, people do whatever they want

They’re thinking they won’t face any consequences for this type of thing, and they’re right.

They think the world is a prison and they are the prison guards.

Now playing

I sincerely hopes this netflix adaptation to be good.

It first came to light in 2014, as pointed out in this article. So basically all this is “hey, how come it took her a whole week to respond to this thing we just noticed was reported seven years ago?” Performative outrage is just as dumb when it comes from progressives as when it comes from FOX news.

Lets not kid ourselves.  If you grew up in a town in this country with at least say 75 years of history, then chances are at least half of the organization that run in that town had a racist past

Now, almost a full week later, Kemper has finally decided to respond to the controversy by posting a statement on Instagram in which she distances herself from “the organization” (she doesn’t name it) and says that she “was old enough” at the time to have learned about it before getting involved.

Finally?

If anything this whole thing has made me more empathetic towards her and more interested in her upcoming projects.

I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

What. WiiU is bomb. I bought one for my daughter last year and we play every so often, controllers are cheaper that Switch’s, and many games on the switch are available on WiiU too.

When they used ‘KKK Princess’ in the headline you’re expecting some crazy shit but after reading the story you realize it’s major hyperbole.

You guys have printed a fair amount of extraordinarily weak outrage-seeking shit over the past couple years, but this might take the cake. I rate this clickbait seven “UGH”s out of a possible five.

The Atlantic reported in 2014 that the Veiled Prophet Organization barred Black and Jewish people from joining.

I’m surprised AV Club went with this take when even the comments section of The Root went “Eh, this is stretching it.”

Kemper was 19 years old when she was selected to be the Queen Of Love And Beauty. At that age, teenagers are mature enough to know what they’re being part of.
