Weird thing: So far, they’ve all died in the same order their characters do in the Director’s Cut (where Dallas is still alive until Ripley finds him in a cocoon):

I think he’s the fourth actor from Alien to die in as many years. A sad business.

Laziness.

Googling and then putting in the first result in your movie - while ignoring the context?

That sums up the Snyderverse pretty well.

Nothing really, it was just a random neat-looking shape you could put on your armor in multiplayer.

$70 m to finish the film and they somehow missed a trademarked image?

so they really do just google shit with no thought or further research... i really shouldn’t be so hard on myself about my writing, clearly the industry doesn’t give a shit.

On topic- You guys maybe wanna re- grey seven-deuce? It’s just nonstop trolling bullshit. It doesn’t add to the conversation and it’s not even a difference of opinions. If someone wants to ungrey it fine, but just to let it keep posting this crap?

That’s...um. That’s what this week’s episode of John Oliver’s show is addressing. I imagine there are also sports writers out there who are currently writing about a baseball game while mentioning (gulp) baseball players, baseballs, and bases.

Deplatforming is the answer to defusing the power of the far right. The problem is, it only works when everyone is on board. When mass media continues to give white supremacist demagogues high visibility, any attempt to ignore them is fruitless. What we should be working toward is making people like Carlson too toxic

So, haven’t watched the video yet, but does he address the title question ?

Pee Wee is an optimistic character, a dark version would be horrible.

I’m not sure if this helps or hurts the argument in regard to attainability, but the Simpsons don’t live “in a suburb”. They live in Springfield, a city large enough to have a university and several museums.

What the hell was up with America’s obsession with truckers in the late 70s/early 80s, anyway?

That was the big issue with Dark Phoenix and WW84. The “big climaxes” were just the actors yelling at each other in front of a greenscreen while CGI squiggles moved around them.

I’m also still bothered by the exchange with Vision where he says “You can’t control me” and she replies “Can’t I?” That’s classic abuser talk, and at least seems self aware. It’s not OK, even if she did bring him to life.

I was very glad that Wanda’s Japanese horror movie-style overcranked mess-with-your-mind powers finally came back from Age of Ultron. Hopefully, next time she gets in a fight, it will be more like the fights seen with Doctor Strange. His duel with Thanos in Infinity War was particularly fun and interesting visually,

This series dovetails nicely with the group therapy scene in Endgame:

Overall I think the series was a moderate success; there were certainly missteps most people have already pointed out.
