Barack Obama is the last President of the United States. Like, ever.

I’m in my thirties and I absolutely love getting older. Every year I get more comfortable with myself and enjoy life more. I find more things that interest me and I know what I am and what I am not. It’s magical.

“Sharia Law” sounds like a made-up TV name for the lead character in a show about a female hard-drinking street-justice vigilante in a near-future dystopia Earth.

Anybody that tells me cutting a program that keeps me alive by 25% and handing that money over to 1% is somehow for my benefit can eat a bag of shit covered rotting dicks.

That’s remarkable shade (like what the Irish PM said at the White House about St. Patrick being an immigrant).

Never forget the message Merkel had for Trump after the election:

Haunted kale.

Putting aside gender issues in which women are more likely to experience unwanted physical contact and how they’re encouraged to respond positively to such attentions, there are also concerns regarding people who just cannot be touched because it’s emotionally/physically/mentally distressing.

“it will improve healthcare for all* Americans.”

May the Donald end up like Silvio: convicted and disgraced.

Dubya is basically Buster Bluth.

Why is Henry David a good detective?

To show my struggle against totalitarianism I adopt the symbols and methods of totalitarianism.

I swear this is true (at least, from my point of view.)

Keep moving backwards in time and there is evidence of struggles within identity politics that we might not be fully aware of because these perspectives of history aren’t part of normalized curricula or even part of popular mainstream media.

Love your comment. I’m not surprised by what this story raises, but I’m also distanced from it via age and such that my only knowledge of Bandstand comes from references to it/its concept in stuff like the Grease film adaptation. I’m more aware of the racial ramifications of the period since my black parents were kids

I feel all sorts of sad for these closeted kids, of course, but I also love this story. It’s important to be able to look back on heteronormative institutions and see the queer reality beneath the surface. It helps to destroy the myth that things were “better” and “normal” [again, read: heteronormative] in the “good

“I watched a movie the other night, great movie - the director is a fan of mine. So I watched this movie, it’s a spy movie you know. Espionage, treason, henchmen - the whole nine yards, ask anyone. And so I watched this movie and there’s this scene with this actor, I can’t remember his name, but he’s a great actor.

I still can’t believe the death penalty is lawful in 2017. It’s disgusting and inhumane and illogical. Killing people is wrong unless 12 people with all their biases and prejudices vote on killing you?
