I watched some episodes of “L&S” last week as a tribute and had forgotten how enjoyable it was. Good slapstick comedy. Always loved Shirley’s line - “Laverne, I have chosen to treat my body as a temple, while you have treated yours like an amusement park.”

Was the author a rich and famous entertainer? 

Felt like this kept revving up yet went nowhere. Sort of like “don’t you wish you were me with all this semi inside info?” that no one really asked for. And WTF is a conestoga? I know what the wagon is but is this some kind of car or something?
